Morgan McCabe

Morgan McCabe is a versatile professional with experience as a performer, director, designer, dramaturg, producer, arts consultant, and educator. She is a member of SAG/AFTRA and AEA.

A 40-year member of SAG-AFTRA, she has appeared in films, episodic productions and national commercial campaigns. Morgan has worked with regional and international theaters, including Marian Theatre Guild, Gary Shakespeare Company, Indiana Repertory Theatre, Steppenwolf, Madison Rep, The Goodman, SITI Company Associates, Chicago Dramatists, City Lit, The Gift, Lookingglass, Court, Body Politic, Victory Gardens, and the Vienna English Theatre. Her talent has been showcased in numerous award-winning plays in Chicago.

She pursued her education at The Goodman School of Drama followed by graduate work at the University of Illinois at Chicago. A former company member of the Commons Theatre and Stage Left Theatre in Chicago, she also worked with Ursa Major in New York, where she was an artist in residence at The Juilliard School and Connecticut College.

Morgan has extensive experience in developing and teaching arts programs for students ranging from kindergarten to college. She has worked as an arts consultant for organizations that serve individuals with learning disabilities. As an educator, Morgan was an instructor and director in the Cherub’s program at Northwestern University and in the Communications Department at PNW. Morgan is currently the Vice President of the New Chicago Indiana Parks Board and has played a key role in establishing arts and education programs for the community.
