Kathryn Zeckel

Kate Zeckel (nee Meyer) grew up in Michigan City, where she was a performer at
the Dunes Arts Summer Theatre from 2001-2006. She received a Lilly Endowment
Scholarship in 2004 and attended University of Indianapolis to study music. Kate
has a bachelor’s degree from University of Indianapolis, and a master’s and
doctorate (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from Roosevelt University.

Kate works as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, and is the owner of Dynamic
Psychology, LLC, a Michigan City-based private psychology practice. Earlier in her
career, Kate worked for nonprofit community mental health centers in Indiana
and Minnesota. Kate is thrilled to continue her involvement with nonprofit
organizations and love for performing arts as a member of the Board of Directors
of Dunes Arts Foundation, a nonprofit providing quality professional theatre
productions and performing arts education.

Kate and her husband Isaac have a daughter and son and live in the Michigan City
area. They are so glad to be able to raise their children in the community where
Kate grew up, and build sandcastles at the beach, go for walks through the tree-
canopied neighborhoods, and support and enjoy live theatre.
