Richard Sabones

Richard Sabones (Rick) recently retired from banking after spending nearly 40 years with Citibank and JP Morgan in a variety of management roles focused on global treasury and investment products, based in Chicago.

Rick grew up on a farm in the Southeast corner of LaPorte County, graduated from LaPorte High School and then earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Purdue University. After a few years in the world of Pharmacy, Rick pursued a different track, earning a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Case Western Reserve University, which enabled him to make the switch to banking.

During retirement Rick enjoys gardening in his Indiana home only a few blocks away from the Dunes Summer Theatre and golfing in the area's many courses. Rick and his wife, Clare Hennessy, split their time between their Indiana home and apartment in Chicago’s Streeterville neighborhood. They have two daughters.
