Emily Chidalek holds a master’s degree in Clinical Counseling and a bachelor's degree in Theatre Performance with a minor in Psychology, both from IU South Bend. With a passion for using theater as a therapeutic tool, she aims to become a drama therapist. Emily operates "Love, Emily," a sustainable art business, alongside her roles as Resident Costume Designer and Stage Manager at Culver Academies. She has collaborated with institutions like South Bend Lyric Opera, IUSB Theatere Department, Notre Dame FTT and Shakespeare, and Art 4. Notable credits include Ghost Quartet (South Bend’s Costume Design of the Decade, BroadwayWorld 2020), Puffs, Don Giovanni and She Kills Monsters. Emily's diverse experience spans regional and international stages as a costumer, scenic artist, stage manager, and performer. She is also part of a theatrical team that broke a world record—an anecdote she enjoys sharing. Emily extends gratitude to those who have patience with her while she is busy, and who hold space for her when she needs it.
