Rick Herman (Assistant Stage Manager) returns to the Dunes following a four-decade career producing corporate “business theatre” and high-profile events. In his “encore career”, he’s stage-managed Drop Dead! (PVCC Performing Arts Center, Phoenix), Summer Shorts ’22 and ’24 and Resisting Irrelevancy by Debra Rich Gettleman. He was assistant stage manager for last summer’s The Bridges of Madison County at the Dunes, the premiere of The Mysterious Disappearance by Kirt Shineman, (Theatre Artists Studio, Scottsdale, AZ) and Kinky Boots (PVCC Performing Arts Center, Phoenix). He received Honorable Mention and Student’s Choice awards at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival in Los Angeles for the US Spanish Language Premiere Production of Esa Nena RIE, Esa Nena LLORA, Esa Nena NO HACE NADA by Finegan Krukemeyer, (John Paul Theatre, Phoenix).
